The park had previous problems with floods. As the park got a new drainage system the municipality used this time to upgrade the existing skatepark with a new completely in concrete.
The skatepark is 375 square meters with the measurements of 15x25 meters. The skatepark is built with a lightweight core due to the bad ground conditions. The 12 centimeter thick concrete layer is built on styrofoam.
